Variety, the Children's Charity, provides children with disabilities unique programs, experiences, and equipment so they may live life to the fullest. The "My Bike" Program is an initiative to provide children with disabilities with adaptive bicycles so they may have the freedom of a bike and the joy of riding alongside friends. Braddock's Trail Wildflower Walks
Spring has sprung! Sign up for the guided tour throughout this scenic park highlighting wild-life, nature and foliage during peak season. Tours start in early April until the middle of May. There is a limit to the number of participants per tour. Please call the NHT Administration Office for reservations, space is limited and there is no fee.
Seneca Pavilion at Indian Lake Park
The North Huntingdon Township Department of Parks & Recreation is pleased to announce the new Seneca Pavilion at Indian Lake Park. This pavilion will accommodate up to 150 people and will have water, electricity and restroom facilities attached. Call the Administration Office for availability and rental fees at 724-863-3806.
2013 New Recycling Law
Pennsylvania's new electronics recycling law takes effect in January 2013. The new law bans the disposal of TV's and computer equipment at transfer stations and landfills. Beginning January 1, 2013, route crews will no longer pick up televisions and computer equipment for disposal. Computer equipment includes laptops, monitors, CPU's, printers, scanners, keyboards, mouses, speakers, cables, and battery backups. These items, if placed at the curb, will be left at the curb. Discount Park Tickets
The 2013 Summer Discount Park Tickets have been ordered and are expected to arrive in the next few weeks. Tickets will be available for Baltimore Aquarium, Cedar Point, Hersheypark, Idlewild, Kennywood, Pittsburgh Zoo, Sandcastle & Waldameer Park.
