2013 Fall Yard Waste Collection
The following weeks are scheduled for the 2013 Fall Yard Waste collection. On your normal day of collection during the weeks of October 29th, November 12th, and December 10th, place yard debris and leaves at the curb in biodegradable bags for pick up.
Eagle Scout Project
On October 26, 2013 volunteers honored the memory of Michael Sweeney Jr. by completing his Eagle Scout Project in Braddock's Trail Park. Much to the shock of the Norwin community, Michael became ill and passed away on September 8, 2013. However, out of respect and devotion to Michael, members of his Boy Scout Troop, school teachers and other volunteers completed Michael's split rail fence project on October 26th. This project will stand as a memorial for Michael and will serve as a reminder of his wish to "do a random act of kindness". The Township encourages residents to visit Braddock's Trail Park, in particular the water fall area and reflect on the split rail fence of Michael Sweeney Jr. Michael, again thank you.
