Parks & Facilities

Our Parks and Recreation department maintains and upkeeps a total of 11 parks to offer the North Huntingdon community places to enjoy activities and athletics as well as places to enjoy the beauty and serenity of nature.

Neighborhood Parks

Neighborhood parks are smaller in size with limited parking options but they are well-maintained and offer a number of amenities to their surrounding neighborhoods for friends and family to enjoy. These amenities can include small to mid-size pavilions, playgrounds, a basketball court, a bocce court, a ballfield, restroom facility or port-a-john, electric, and water. Pets are allowed at most of our parks but pet owners must comply with Township Ordinance Number 938. See our Pets in our Parks page for more details.

Operation Hours

Hours of operation are from 8 a.m. to sunset unless otherwise noted. Pavilion reservations are from 9 a.m. to sunset at all locations.
