Young Lungs at Play

In 2019, our Department of Parks & Recreation proudly joined the growing list of communities who have joined Young Lungs at Play!, an initiative to make public parks, playing fields and playgrounds tobacco-free supported by Addagio Health and the Penn State Extension, Westmoreland County Office and funded through the Pennsylvania Department of Health. All of our parks are designated as tobacco-free, and prohibit the use of any tobacco product or electronic cigarette. Signs are posted at all of our parks and violators will be asked to be removed from the park. See our Tobacco-Free Parks Ordinance for more information
