Goddard School to Open in NHT

Goddard Schools are a part of the Goddard Systems Inc. franchise. There are more than 500 Goddard Schools in 37 states and they reach more than 65,000 students. It offers kindergarten and pre-kindergarten programs that uses current academically-endorsed methods, while also enabling children to explore their interests through play and learn through experience. The North Huntingdon location is scheduled to open later this year.

NHT Now Has a New Career Institute

United Career Institute has a new campus location in North Huntingdon Square. They are an educational facility, accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) and the Pennsylvania Department of Education, that offers programs and diplomas in medical related fields. Currently, the North Huntingdon location is offering Medical Assisting and Medical Office Administration programs. Parkview Credit Union Opens in NHT

Parkview Credit Union recently opened a new location on Route 30. As a non-profit organization, they provide banking and borrowing services including savings and checking accounts, individual retirement accounts, personal loans, home equity loans, and a variety of other services that can be found on their website. Peace Day Music Festival to be Hosted at Oak Hollow Park

This year in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Woodstock, the Department of Parks and Recreation is hosting a Peace Day Music Festival at Oak Hollow Park from 3pm-10pm. There will be live music, a hillside slide, a laser light show and more. Entertainment is intended for adult audiences.
