Madero Cantina opened a new location in the Norwin Hills Shopping Center. They are a suburban restaurant chain of David Montanez, the owner of Las Velas in downtown Pittsburgh’s Market Square. The menu at Madero closely resembles that of Las Velas, full of fresh authentic Mexican dishes. Siena at Norwin opened a location on Route 30 in North Huntingdon Township. They are affiliated with Pizza Siena which has successful locations in Greensburg and Latrobe. Garbage Hauler Changes in 2020

North Huntingdon Township's garbage hauler has changed to County Hauling effective January 1, 2020. Waste Management's contract expired December 31, 2019 and the contract went out for bid.
