NHT Welcomes Two New Medical Offices at Lincoln Corner


Associates in Ophthalmology (AIO) will be opening a location at Lincoln Corner on Thompson Lane and Route 30. Their eye surgeons (ophthalmologists) specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of cataracts, laser vision correction, diseases of the cornea, retina (including diabetic retinopathy, diabetic eye care, macular degeneration, retinal detachments, flashes and floaters), and glaucoma. Pedatric Associates of Westmoreland  will also be opening a location at Lincoln Corner. They are a large independent pediatric practice, offering healthcare services to children 0-21 years of age. Huntingdon Market Place-Lot 1 Opens


Huntingdon Market Place's first lot is a new commercial development located on Mills Drive (near Ronda Ct.). Currently, Citizens Bank and Knockouts are the businesses at this location.

Two Restaurants Open in North Huntingdon


Madero Cantina opened a new location in the Norwin Hills Shopping Center. They are a suburban restaurant chain of David Montanez, the owner of Las Velas in downtown Pittsburgh’s Market Square. The menu at Madero closely resembles that of Las Velas, full of fresh authentic Mexican dishes. Siena at Norwin opened a location on Route 30 in North Huntingdon Township. They are affiliated with Pizza Siena which has successful locations in Greensburg and Latrobe. Father-Daughter Dance Clip Art

Father-Daughter Dance Ticket Sales

On Saturday January 11, 2020 from 9am-11am we will be holding a public pre-sale for tickets for the annual Father-Daughter Dance hosted by the Department of Parks and Recreation at the Townhouse (11279 Center Highway). Doors will open at 8:30am for the presale. Tickets are $45 per person. A maximum of 4 tickets can be purchased. The dance will be held at Stratigos Banquet Center on February 15th from 5pm until 9pm and this year's theme is Glow Gala. 

Garbage Hauler Changes in 2020


North Huntingdon Township's garbage hauler has changed to County Hauling effective January 1, 2020. Waste Management's contract expired December 31, 2019 and the contract went out for bid.
