Virtual Wildflower Tour Now Available

Usually, the Braddock's Trail Wildflower Tours are held every spring but unfortunately due to COVID-19 restrictions, we were not able to host them in-person. However, with the help of Dr. Robert Whyte and Dr. Jack Boylan, the Department of Parks and Recreation would like to share this year's tour with you virtually on our website. Check out the natural beauty of Braddock's Trail Park and we hope you enjoy the wildflowers from this spring.

NHTMA Scheduled to Move Locations in Mid July

This summer the NHTMA administrative offices will be relocating to 4130 Turner Valley Road next to the sewage treatment facility. Because of the move, NHTMA payments will no longer accept payments at the Townhouse or in the drop box outside the township building’s main doors. Please take steps to find an alternate method of payment - by mail, the customer service window at the new location, or on their website at nhtma.org.

Glass Recycling Collection July 6th -17th at NHT Public Works

There is currently a glass recycling collection event at the North Huntingdon Public Works site (12319 Center Highway). Glass bottles, jars, jugs will be accepted (no need to separate colors and lids/labels can remain on). All glass must be placed unbagged inside the dumpster. Cut glass, glass bakeware, porcelain ceramics, stemware, window glass, light bulbs, or televisions will not be accepted.
